Companion care services for seniors and elderly adults in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Somerset and Union Counties in Northern New Jersey
As part of the total care of the patient, the home health aide provides companionship care as well. Never discount the value of companionship and conversation. Personal interaction makes a huge difference in a person’s attitude and mood. However, isolation need not be a necessary by-product of home care. A home health aide can accompany a senior on a walk, errands or a fun outing. As such, aides help keep them safe while they enjoy much-needed social opportunities.
In addition to personal care, companionship care services are part of the tasks of our Certified Home Health Aides. Our aides take over the total personal care of the patient to ensure that the patient is happy, comfortable and well cared for. An in-home health aide can provide the healthy interaction and activity that are vital for seniors by participating in your parent’s daily life by reading to them, playing games or cards and discussing the news of the day.
