February is Heart Disease Awareness Month. How to treat it and tips for prevention of heart disease.

While each February we celebrate hearts and valentines, it is also a time to reflect on something much more serious. Though other illnesses have come center stage lately, heart disease remains a common concern as we age. According to the National Council on Aging, it is one of the top 5 most common chronic illnesses in adults 65 and over. As such, Heart Disease Awareness month is a good time to do some research on the subject.
